A warm welcome to my workspace

I’m Gin Panlilio, a UX/UI & Web Designer. Once upon-a-time an Interior Designer.

Exploring places, spaces, and ideas allows me to immerse myself in diverse experiences and uncover the stories behind them—the “why” of events, history, and their influence on today’s culture. This fascination with culture, history and the little details that shape the bigger picture fuels my creativity and strengthens my ability to empathize with others.

With a love for old-world charm, architecture, and thoughtful design, my creativity is deeply experiential. The learning process to me is key to the outcome of any project. I believe that every space, interaction or design has a story to tell—one that resonates with its audience. By integrating what I learn from these experiences, I approach my work with empathy and intention, ensuring that the solutions I create not only meet user needs but also reflect their aspirations and values.

Transitioning from planning and designing physical spaces to crafting user interfaces, I’ve discovered the boundless possibilities of the digital world. The broad and flexible nature of it it fuels my belief that with the right skills, I can bring any vision to life.

My Design Process

1 . Understanding and Alignment
I start by understanding my client’s vision and goals, asking questions to help clarify their desired outcome and target audience.  This ensures that the designs I create align closely with the brand’s values and purpose.

2. Strategic Planning
I approach design with a strategic mindset with positioning as a focus. Careful consideration is placed on how each design decision impacts brand identity and engages the audience, making my process highly intentional and purpose-driven.

3. Conceptualization and Creativity
Inspiration is drawn from broad creative influences blending aesthetics with functionality.  Setting the mood or style must align with the client’s brand while staying visually compelling.

4. Iterative Design and Refinement
Design is done with flexibility, developing user flows and interfaces that are intuitive and engaging. My  process involves continuous refinement, focusing on usability and visual harmony until the design feels both polished and aligned with the client’s goals.

Tools: Figma, WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, Wix, Visual Code for basic (HTML & CSS)

5. Implementation and Review
I implement designs with a focus on quality, ensuring that each element—whether it’s a WordPress layout or a Figma-based UI flow—is effective and engaging. I prioritize post-design feedback, aiming to improve client satisfaction and user experience.
